
Hari is a fantasy and science fiction author with three books published by the independent press Readomania. He started writing in nationwide newspapers such as The Indian Express, The Economic Times and The Hindu right from his school days and is a winner of The Times of India’s Write India Contest.
His first novel, The Happy Fruit Adventures, is an allegorical fantasy where contrasting approaches to finding happiness in life are explored through an action packed quest within a dense jungle. In Agent Sinha, a road accident victim whose brain is blanked out by trauma, searches for his lost past in a virtual world made of his own memories. Hari's next work is a science fiction novel set in the Late Cretaceous with dinosaurs as its main characters.
Hari grew up in the tranquil Lakshadweep islands, diving lagoons and exploring coral reefs. He graduated as a computer science engineer and worked in the software industry for fifteen years before transitioning to writing fiction full time. He now lives in a large multigenerational family in Chennai spanning ages seven to eighty seven. When not absorbed in books, he is out following wild trails on his bike or on foot.
